In the new initiative of the Max Planck Society and MaxNet on Big-Data-Driven Materials Science (abbreviated BiGmax), ten institutions of the Max Planck Society and Humboldt-University (Berlin) combine their know-how in data-driven material science. The chief coordinators of the project are  Prof. Dr. Matthias Scheffler and  Prof. Dr. Peter Benner.
